Food description:
This dessert feels especially on-brand because it lets apple wine take center stage in a refined but approachable way. The apples slowly absorb the wine, cinnamon, and spice, becoming soft, fragrant, and beautifully glossy without losing their structure.
The mascarpone adds a cool, creamy contrast that makes the final plate feel elegant enough for a dinner party while still being simple to prepare. It is a natural fit for a brand built around apple-forward indulgence and old-world appeal.
Ingredients:
4 apples, peeled and halved
2 cups Old World Apple Nectar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
2 strips lemon peel
1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
Place apples, Old World Apple Nectar, water, sugar, cinnamon stick, and lemon peel in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 20 to 25 minutes, turning occasionally, until apples are tender but not falling apart.
Remove apples and continue simmering liquid until slightly reduced. Stir honey into mascarpone. Serve apples with a spoonful of mascarpone and drizzle with the reduced poaching liquid.
Garnish:
A dusting of cinnamon or thin lemon zest strips
