Food description:
This soup offers a cozy and slightly unexpected way to use apple cider in a savory dish. The cider does not overpower the cheese; instead, it lifts and rounds out the richness, creating a smoother, more layered bowl of comfort.
The pairing of apple and cheddar is classic, which makes this recipe feel familiar while still being distinctive enough to stand out on your site. It is especially fitting for cooler-weather content and can be positioned as a comforting seasonal favorite.

2 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 Old World Apple Nectar
3/4 cup apple cider

1 cup milk
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
