Glazed Pork Chops

Food description:

Apple and pork have always belonged together, and this dish brings that timeless pairing into a more elevated, modern presentation. The pork chops are seared until beautifully browned, then finished with a glossy Old World Apple Nectar pan sauce that carries just enough sweetness to round out the richness of the meat.

This recipe feels hearty without being too heavy, making it a strong choice for a dinner feature that feels both rustic and refined. The sauce reduces into a silky glaze with notes of apple, butter, herbs, and a touch of mustard, creating a plate that feels worthy of a King’s table.

Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 small shallot, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup Old World Apple Nectar
1/2 cup apple cider
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions:
Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chops for 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Lower heat to medium and add butter, shallot, and garlic. Cook until softened, then pour in the Old World Apple Nectar and apple cider. Stir in Dijon, thyme, brown sugar, and vinegar. Simmer until reduced by about half. Return pork chops to the skillet and cook until they are done through, spooning glaze over the top before serving.

Garnish:
Fresh thyme sprigs and thin apple slices
